Seven people have been arrested in the space of two days after suspected counterfeit Apple Watches and iPods were recovered, and £1,000 worth of clothes were reportedly stolen, from St Albans city centre.
The arrests were made on Tuesday (June 27) and yesterday (Wednesday, June 28).
On Tuesday, police were alerted via their 'ShopWatch' radios that suspected counterfeit iPods and iWatches were being sold in St Peter's Street.

Three men - all in their 30s - were arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
The suspected counterfeit goods have been seized, and the men have been given a community resolution.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "If you have bought goods, which you suspect may not be genuine, please email your safer neighbourhood team: stalbans@herts.police.uk
"Remember – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Always purchase goods from a reputable company."

At around 11.30am yesterday, two women and two men were taken into custody on suspicion of theft in Chequer Street.
The arrests were made as £1,000 of clothing from Fatface was recovered.
Hidayet Aytak, 20, Bogdan Constantin, 35, and Christina Cica, 30, all of Holloway Street, Wolverhampton, were charged with theft overnight, as was Ronaldo Stana, 20, of no fixed abode.
The four individuals are due to appear at St Albans Magistrates' Court on August 1.
