Train services are currently disrupted between St Albans and central London, due to an issue at London St Pancras International.
The issue began at around 8am this morning (Monday, August 14), when a train's brakes became "locked on" at the station.
St Pancras sits on the Thameslink route which frequently takes St Albans commuters into central London, stopping at London Blackfriars, City Thameslink and London Bridge among others.

The train has since been moved, but congestion and "knock-on" delays continue to effect passengers.
Those travelling into central London this morning have been advised to allow at least an extra 30 minutes to complete their journeys.

As a result, Thameslink tickets continue to be accepted on Southern rail services (via any reasonable route), London buses to London Bridge or West Hampstead or the London Underground service between London rail terminals.
