A dog, described as 'dangerously out of control' by Hertfordshire police, has bitten a six-year-old girl in Harpenden.
The incident took place at around 4.10pm last Thursday (August 31), at Batford Springs Nature Reserve.
At that time, the girl was swinging on a zipwire when a brown Dachshund jumped up and bit her on the back.

The animal then ran, before leaving the park with its owner.
PC Seán Lannon said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“We have a limited description of the dog owner, who is described as a white woman, around 30 years of age and 5ft 7ins tall.
