Two people have been charged after a 16-year-old boy was threatened and robbed in Hemel Hempstead.
On Friday (October 27), the teenager had his bicycle stolen while being threatened in the Old Town.
Tyrone Curland - from Queensway, Hemel Hempstead - appeared before remand court on Monday (October 30).
The 19-year-old was remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Luton Crown Court on November 27.
A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before remand court yesterday (Tuesday, October 31) and was released on conditional bail.
He is due to appear at St Albans Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday, November 1).
Detective Sergeant John Prendergast said: "We’ve been conducting extensive enquiries and have now been able to secure these charges as a result.
"I hope this sends a message that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we will do all we can to bring people before the courts.”
