Hertfordshire police have released images of two items of jewellery that they suspect to be stolen, following a burglary in St Albans.

Following the theft last Tuesday, October 24, a gold Krug-Baumen watch and a gold bangle were recovered by officers.

Police initially stopped a vehicle connected to the burglary before searching the address of one of its occupants, where the items were found.

Detective Constable Paul Cullinan said: “We believe this jewellery may have been stolen and we are keen to find the rightful owners. Do you recognise it?
