Hertfordshire police have seized two cars, a Nissan and a Citroen, in St Albans.
Firstly, a Nissan Note was stopped on Sandpit Lane at 9.42am for having no insurance.
The vehicle was seized and its driver reported to court.
Secondly, a grey Citroen was stopped on London Road, near the Odyssey cinema and Esso garage.
This vehicle was seized at 11.25am and its driver reported, again for having no insurance.

Both incidents were the result of "proactive patrols" by Hertfordshire Constabulary.
Last month, a black Toyota Aygo was seized for the same offence on Chequer Street, in St Albans city centre.
Motorists without car insurance may be subject to fines of £300 and six penalty points on their driving licence.
