Hertfordshire police have released a CCTV image after a wallet was stolen from a motor vehicle in St Albans.
The item was taken from a vehicle in Tavistock Road between 4pm on Friday, December 15 and 10.30am on Saturday, December 16.
The wallet contained cash and bank cards which were later used to make "fraudulent transactions" in Luton.
PC Georgie Cooper said: “It is believed that the male pictured was in the area at the time and may be able to assist with our investigation.
"If this is you or you recognise the man pictured, please get in contact.”
