Plans for a four-bedroom house to replace existing garages in Harpenden have been submitted to St Albans City & District Council's planning committee.
The application, validated on Tuesday (January 23) concerns land to the rear of 13, 13A And 13B Whitings Close.
Parking and landscaping are included in the plans, which are considered "compatible with the scale and character of the locality".
Floor plans and a proposed street scene are included in the application.
A design and access statement reads: "There will be no adverse impact on neighbouring properties.
"The development will have an acceptable impact on local services and infrastructure.

The plans can be viewed by using reference 5/2023/2596 on the St Albans City & District Council planning portal.
Residents have until February 24 to comment or object to the proposal.
