A 47-year-old man from Luton has pleaded guilty to stealing more than £400 worth of confectionary, Calpol, condoms and Nicorette gum from a Harpenden Co-op.
Appearing at St Albans Magistrates' Court on Friday, January 12, Elton Bierman - of Kings Street, Luton - pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from a shop.
On May 2, 2023, Bierman stole confectionary items to the value of £122 from the Southdown Road store.

On May 15, he stole confectionary, condoms and Calpol to the value of £150.50 from the shop.
Later, on June 1, condoms, Nicorette gum, Calpol and confectionary were taken from the Co-op, with an overall value of £139.50.
The individual also stole an unknown value of confectionary from Morrisons in St Albans in November 2023.
Last year (2023), Bierman pleaded guilty to four further counts of theft from a shop, in relation to £495 worth of items taken from the Harpenden Co-op.
Bierman will appear at St Albans Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Thursday, February 1) for sentencing.
