A Luton man - who pleaded guilty to stealing items to the value of over £800 from shops in St Albans and Harpenden - has been ordered not to approach or enter the stores.
Elton Bierman, 47, appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday, February 1) where he was remanded on conditional bail, with the condition of not entering or approaching Morrisons in St Albans or the Co-op in Harpenden.
With the hearing adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared, he will next appear on Thursday, March 7.

Earlier this month, Bierman pleaded guilty to stealing more than £400 worth of confectionary, Calpol, condoms and Nicorette gum from Harpenden's Co-op, during three separate incidents.
He also stole an unknown value of confectionary from Morrisons in St Albans in November 2023.
Last year (2023), Bierman pleaded guilty to four further counts of theft from a shop, in relation to £495 worth of items taken from the Harpenden Co-op.
