Plans for a new pavilion at St Albans Rangers Football Club have been submitted to St Albans City & District Council's planning committee.
Male and female changing rooms are included in the plans, along with an officials room and function suite.
These facilities would sit within a 12.4 x 9 metre pavilion structure, to be constructed on Green Belt land.
Enhancements would be made to football pitches at the site, and a stone base will be added to an overspill parking area.
A covering letter included within the application reads: "St Albans Rangers Football Club has been operating from the site since 1985.
"The club is currently very poorly provided for, in terms of changing facilities and toilets.
"In fact, there are no changing facilities and the former toilet block is no longer in use.

Due to cross-boundary issues, a second application was also submitted to Hertsmere Borough Council, following which no issues were raised.
