Andrew Malik, a young actor from Harpenden, is set to star in an American movie being released this week.
The Persian Version will be released on Friday (March 22) and follows Iranian-American Leila as her family unites in New York City.

Andrew will play Eman, one of Leila's brothers, in the film which has already won two awards at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival - the Audience Award and Waldo Salt Screenwriting award.

The 26-year-old actor is of Persian Assyrian descent and has previously starred in short movies Two Metres Down and Red Rose.
