A scooter rider has been hospitalised after being attacked by a "Staffordshire bull terrier-type" dog in London Colney.
Between 4pm and 4.30pm on Friday (March 15) the man had been riding his scooter along Reed Close when he was approached by another man with a dog off its lead.
The animal then bit the victim on his arm and cheek, leading to him requiring hospital treatment.
Hertfordshire police have appealed for witnesses and information.
PC Sarah Maitland-Lauderdale said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
