Burger King has submitted plans to St Albans City & District Council following the chain's announcement of a new restaurant in London Colney.
The fast-food giant is set to open a site at Unit 1 of Colney Fields Retail Park, alongside Greggs and PureGym.
Proposed elevations have been included within the plans, showing the Burger King logo and glass doors.
Advertising consent is being sought for the restaurant, with five signs set to be installed.
Thirty jobs will be created, including four managerial roles.
