A St Albans church is combining with mental health charity Mind for a fundraising day next month.
St Peter's Church will stage the return of 'St Peter's Fest', taking place in the courtyard on Saturday, June 8.
The family-friendly event will be packed with activities and will raise money for a pair of good causes.
Money raised will go to the refurbishment of the historic church as well as to the vital mental health services that Mind provide across Hertfordshire.
Mark Dearnly, vicar of St Peter's Church said: "We are privileged to open our churchyard for St Peter’s Fest in conjunction with Mind in Mid Herts. This event combines fun, community activities, and awareness of important local causes."
The day's entertainment includes face painting, a bouncy castle and tours of the church's historic tower.
A BBQ and refreshments will also be provided.
Emma, fundraising and communications officer for Mind in Mid Herts, said: "It’s a wonderful way for the community to come together, have fun, and really make a difference.
"Every tower tour, every burger eaten, it all adds up and helps us ensure that no one in Hertfordshire has to face a mental health problem alone."
