A 23-year-old man has been charged with a string of drug offences after police seized around £300,000 worth of suspected heroin from a London Colney address.

Mugove Mujere was arrested after officers searched a property in the early hours of Tuesday morning (July 9).

The Herts police Operation Scorpion team received a tip-off from members of the public and seized the drugs.

Mujere has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin), possession of a class A drug (cocaine) and possession of a class B drug (cannabis).

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at St Albans Crown Court on August 7.
