The death of a man in his 40s in St Albans is no longer being treated as a murder investigation, with the suspect cleared of wrongdoing.
A 46-year-old woman had been arrested and bailed following the man's death on June 22.
Her bail has been cancelled and she has been cleared of wrongdoing.
Police were called to an address in Camp Road to reports of a man becoming unwell and he was pronounced as deceased.
Enquiries have continued for the last month until police today (July 22) confirmed that the case is no longer being treated as a murder investigation.
A spokesperson for Herts police said: “Following extensive enquiries and a post-mortem result, this is no longer being treated as a murder investigation and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"Should anything new come to light, we will act on this accordingly.”
