A St Albans salon could be set for a golden night at a prestigious awards ceremony after being nominated in three categories.
Clipso, based on Victoria Street, has been recognised by the 2024 Salon Awards, sponsored by Revlon Professional.
The ceremony takes place in November, with the St Albans establishment up for the Creative Image of the Year, Colourist of the Year and Future Talent of the Year awards.
Artistic Director Dean Lawton Taylor is up for both Creative Image of the Year and Colourist of the Year.
He said: "I can hardly express how thrilled I am to be a finalist in not just one, but two categories!
"It's an incredible honour to be recognised among such talented individuals. Winning would be an extraordinary achievement, and it would mean so much to me. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity!"
Dean is no stranger to awards, having won the Commercial Colour Genius at the World Colour Genius Awards earlier this year.
Teammate Sam Staal will be among his rivals for the Creative Image of the Year award.
The master hair designer said: “Making it to the finals is simply amazing—I’m absolutely overjoyed!"
He added: “I take great pride in my work, and I really hope the judges can see that.”
Finally, the team's youngest member Isabelle Hall has been nominated for the Future Talent Award.
She said: “I am so happy to have reached the finals!
"I’d like to thank my brilliant team for mentoring me and helping me get this far."
