A Grade II-listed pub in St Albans could be set for change, with a search for new landlords under way.
The Fleur De Lys in French Row has a history dating back to the Middle Ages, with an urban legend even claiming that King John of France briefly stayed in the building after his capture at the Battle of Poitiers in 1356.
In 2007, the pub underwent a refurbishment and became known as The Snug, part of a chain of cocktail bars bearing the same name.
But another change of ownership could be on the horizon with the iconic building being listed on findmypub.com, a website dedicated to finding new owners and landlords for pubs.

The Fleur De Lys is listed as being available with ingoing costs of £11,525 and an annual rent of £43,000.
The two-storey building can seat 60 patrons indoors, with an enclosed rear yard able to fit another 70 people.
The listing notes that any prospective new landlords would be expected to provide a 'premium food offer' to customers.
Would-be landlords will have access to two bedrooms and a lounge.
With change likely coming, there remains a possibility that new management could revert the pub back to its former name.
