A St Albans staple is set to return for a 27th year, with the city's Beer and Cider festival getting under way tomorrow (September 25).
Organised by the campaign for real ale (CAMRA), the festival runs from Wednesday to Saturday at the Alban Arena, with each day's festivities running from midday until 11pm.
Attendees are promised "hundreds of cask ales, an array of craft beers, epic street food and outstanding entertainment".
That entertainment includes nine live bands and a range of games and prizes.
New for 2024 are a range of cask ales imported from the US, a regional spotlight bar - this year focussing on the best beer Merseyside has to offer - and a range of dedicated brewery bars.
The arena will provide seating across three floors, as well as outdoor space - weather permitting.
