An investigation is under way after a BMW was stolen from a St Albans driveway last night (September 24).
The vehicle was taken from an address in Harrier End, with police confirming that the owner was the victim of a keyless theft.
The car is a black BMW X2, with the registration number GY20.
Inside the car was a pram, baby seat and green coat.
A police investigation is ongoing.
Car theft has been on the rise in St Albans, with data showing a 17 per cent rise in the number of incidents between April and July, while Home Office data revealed that 72 per cent of car thefts in Hertfordshire have gone unsolved since 2020.
