Plans have been submitted for nine new homes in Sandridge.
The plans, submitted by HGH Consulting on behalf of Sandridge Stables Ltd, would see existing storage units demolished to make way for a new housing development.
The houses would be built at the site of the former stables on St Albans Road.
The nine homes would be classed as 'market housing' with the application not specifying how many bedrooms each property would contain.

A design and access statement submitted alongside the application reads: "The proposals include extensive green areas with differing character and uses.
"We will offer a range of new family housing commensurate with local needs, as well as private and communal amenities and associated parking."
Arguing that the land is well suited for development, the application notes that the nearby former allotment site has received permission for 14 new homes.
The proposals are now open to the public for a consultation, lasting until October 26.
