Verulam Reallymoving rounded off its 2022 season in style with successes at the final round of the Central Cyclo-cross League -as well as announcing a new sponsor for the 2023 campaign.

The final round of the winter season was named Crossmas and for the first time was hosted by the St Albans racing team's parent club - Verulam CC.

The venue at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted was bitterly cold but turned out to be a hot success with Verulam Reallymoving riders blazing their way to the podium.

George Rice started the team's run of trips to the podium when he won the U10 race.

Emma Knox followed in the U12s as did brother Alarik in the U14s.

Samuel Stacey was third in U16s and Josh Hemmings fifth in juniors while Rachel Dunn won the V40 women and Alan Gunner the V40 men.

Liz McKie was the V50 women's winner, with Verulam's Claire Sharp finishing fifth in her Santa costume, while Paul Caton took third in the V60.

With the final round in the books, the team were delighted with their final standings.
