St Albans' more experienced athletes ended their track season with plenty to celebrate.
The final match for the masters in the Southern Counties VAC League Herts & North Middlesex Division took place at Harrow.
And the St Albans women came first on the night to finish the league second overall this season.
The men’s team were third meaning they finished fourth overall.
A spokesman for the squad said: "The St Albans team combines St Albans Striders and St Albans Athletics Club and it has grown this year in size and strength.
"We have all had a lot of fun under team captain Andrew Maher.
Maher himself took part in the SVN six-hour running challenge at Gravesend, completing 50k in five hours 50 minutes.
