Harpenden's Jack Bigham will represent England at the World Amateur Team Championships in the United Arab Emirates.
Bigham, along with Barclay Brown, both impressed at the Walker Cup for Great Britain & Ireland, earning their spot in the men’s team for the Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s National Course.
The Harpenden man has enjoyed several top 10 finishes this year including a fourth place tie at the European Amateur Championship in Finland as well as an impressive 12th at the St Andrews Links Trophy.
They will compete for the Eisenhower Trophy from October 18 to 21.
The format sees each team member play 18 holes of stroke play on each day of competition.
A total of the two lowest scores on each day will count towards each team's score.
The tournament last took place in 2022 in France with Italy taking the trophy.
England's last win came under the guise of Great Britain & Ireland, with the last triumph coming in 1998.
