Old Albanian and Harpenden picked up good wins as the burgeoning rugby season continued.
OAs enjoyed a 51-16 success over Sevenoaks in National Two East and did so with 14 men for most of the second half.
The seemingly innocuous incident as viewed from the sideline came just after the half hour mark, but it was enough for a home yellow, their second of the half, and the red to OA's flanker.
By that stage, Albanian have gained a bonus point, twice through the efforts of Oluwaseyi Ajeigbe and one each for Alex Ricci and Kemp Price.
It meant a 20-10 lead at the break.
Sevenoaks scored two penalties early in the second half to narrow the gap to four but from there OAs ran away with it
Charlie Fleckney got two of the four second tires, Price getting his second and Sam Jones one, with a further 11 points from the latter's boot.
Albanian return to Woollams for the visit of Tonbridge Juddians on Saturday.
Harpenden meanwhile won 38-29 at home to Letchworth in Regional One South East.
The home side enjoyed a positive start to the game with most attacks bringing some points.
Declan Murphy got the first try, Oliver Mann converting, before Fred Gulliford went over, Mann again adding the two points.
He would also land a third conversion following a Jonathan Ward try and two penalties before the half-time whistle.
For Letchworth, Josh Sharp landed a drop goal and converting after a Josh Stadden try.
It meant Harpenden, who had been minus a yellow-carded player for 10 minutes, turned round 27-10 in front.
Chris Gibbs and Sharp narrowed the gap by seven early in the second half and another yellow card for Harpenden gave the visitors more hope.
Gulliford grabbed a try with 15 minutes to go but Tom Ansell cancelled that out before Will Titherington's try and Sharp's kick made it 32-29.
A Letchworth yellow and two penalties from Mann ended hopes of the comeback though to leave Harps sixth in the table.
In Counties Two Herts Middlesex, St Albans had a tough 53-7 home loss to Ealing Trailfinders but there was a fine 49-27 win for Tabard at Old Millhillians.
Verulamians also won in Counties Three Herts Middlesex, beating Stevenage Town 47-21.
