Harpenden Town manager Micky Nathan would have been more upset after a frustrating draw with Wormley Rovers had it not been for a plethora of positives.
Harps were playing their second Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division match of the season after a 3-2 win on the opening day away to Shefford Town & Campton.
But despite most of the possession, more of the territory and the better chances, Wormley held on for a 0-0 draw.
However, Nathan could still see the pluses in the performance.
"Yeah, it was frustrating," he said. "To dominate the majority of the game and not go and put the ball in the back of the net, with the amount of chances we had, [is frustrating].
"We hit the crossbar twice and the keeper makes some outstanding saves on one leg and with one shoulder so credit to him.
"And they defended well but it is two points dropped .
"But if we weren't creating those chances, I'd be scratching my head or pulling out what hair I have.
"But we are. We created loads of on Saturday against Shefford and the score was probably closer than it should have been.
"And against Wormley, we created loads of chances too, but equally, we defended really well at certain times of the game.
"To keep a clean sheet at home is good, we just have to work on a couple of fine details at the top end of the pitch."

It leaves Harpenden fourth in the early table and Nathan sees more to come from his side.
He said: "We've been in this situation many times, where we've probably had our backs against the wall slightly and nicked a 1-0.
"Football is football and this is the Spartan League, there's no such thing as an easy game.
"You’ve got to really want it and you’ve got to earn it. I take my hat off to all the lads, all of them are an absolutely credit to the club.
"They are moving in the right direction."
